This session is a follow-up of the SS90 – 13th AIMS on Dynamical Systems, Differential Equations, and Applications (Wilmington, NC, 31 May – 04 June 2023). We focus our attention on problems of wavelet analysis along with their main aspects and general properties arising from real-world applications. Wavelet analysis currently plays a pivotal role in pure and applied mathematics. In fact, wavelet analysis is often applied in problems of dynamical systems, fractional calculus, fractal geometry and more in general, between different topics in applied functional analysis (e.g., image processing). Thus, our goal is to bring together experts and young researchers in various subfields of wavelet analysis, PDEs and dynamical systems, in order to report the newest progress, exchange ideas, forge new cooperation and to discuss both classical and merging open problems.

The topics include but are not limited to:

  • Wavelet methods for PDEs
  • Analysis on fractal sets
  • Time-frequency analysis and sparse representation
  • Orbits, attractors and wavelet analysis
  • Chaoticity and topological dynamical systems
  • Fractal functions and fractional operators
  • PDEs on irregular domains
  • Variational techniques in image processing
