
Prof. Dorota Mozyrska

Biography:
Prof. Dorota Mozyrska works at the Faculty of Computer Science, Bialystok University of Technology, Poland, where she also served as the Dean of the Faculty (2020–2024, 2024-..). She holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Warsaw (1992), a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Warsaw University of Technology (2001), and a D.Sc. (habilitation) in Technical Sciences, specializing in Automatics and Robotics (2014).
Her research interests include fractional calculus, control theory, discrete and dynamic systems, and time scale calculus. She is the author and co-author of over 120 scientific papers published in international journals and conference proceedings. Her works focus on observability and controllability of fractional-order systems, discrete fractional models, and fractional-order PID control.
Prof. Mozyrska has coordinated or participated in numerous national and international research projects, including those funded by the Polish National Science Centre (NCN), the 7th Framework Programme (FP7), and Erasmus+. She also served as Vice-Chair of the COST Action CA15225 Fractional Systems and WG1 Leader in COST Action CA16227 IMAAC.
Prof. Mozyrska is an active member of the Polish Mathematical Society, and she is involved in popularization of mathematics and digital education.
